Elke Müller, managing director of compass international and experienced trainer for intercultural subjects and Annette Schilling, owner of AS Kommunikations– und Karriereberatung and experienced trainer for communications and leadership development have been co-operating for quite some years. Their combined effort is dedicated to improve, re-design and invent concepts for more efficient trainings.

In doing so, they especially focused on often heard participants’ requests: To provide “fool-proof” guidelines how to handle ‘the Chinese’, ‘the Germans’, or ‘the Brazilians’. Since no such thing exists, the idea for the contact2culture learning concept was born, which is to enable persons to act in a self-reflected and successful way in intercultural settings.

An additional major benefit of this new concept is the saving of valuable workshop time and money, considering particularly that participants are likely to be spread all over the world: contact2culture is using the internet to deliver the contents wherever and whenever the participants want to study.

Luckily enough, Elke and Annette could convince Sandra Neubauer, programmer of e-learnings with experience in an international IT company, to take over the develop of the project.

Her responsibility reached far beyond software development, she did a tremendous job in pre-selecting the pictures, which now so perfectly illustrate the subjects.

And – last not least – a huge ’thank you’ to our beta testers. Throughout the development they provided us with valuable feedback and input. Without their views, contact2culture wouldn’t be half as interesting.
